Is breakfast included?

Yes. Breakfast is served 7.30am-9:30am in our main building. Continental breakfast is included in your room rate and consists of a choice of 4 items from the following: cereal, yogurt, a piece of fruit, toast with jam and butter; orange or apple juice, coffee, tea (PG, green or mint) and hot chocolate with additional items at a surcharge.

We now also offer a cooked full English breakfast at £8 with eggs, beans, bacon, sausage, hash brown, as well as different coffees free of charge in our lounge 24 hours a day.

Do you have a lift?

Our beautiful Victorian building from 1850 has many attractive original architectural details, but sorry, no lifts!

All Bookings at the Hotel are subject to these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old to make a reservation. When you book you will be informed of any minimum length of stay, the amount of any deposit and any cancellation charges. Other conditions may apply which will be specified when you make your booking.

Check-In / Check-Out Requirements

In the interests of security and to prevent fraud, at the time of check-in, guests may be required to confirm their identity, for example by providing their passport/identity card/driving licence. These records will be kept for at least 12 months and may be disclosed to a third party as required by law. We reserve the right to refuse entry to persons who cannot provide the information mentioned in this paragraph. Unless otherwise stated on the booking confirmation, guests may check-in at any time from 14:00 on the scheduled day of arrival. All rooms which are guaranteed by a travel agent, deposit or prepaid will he held until 11:59 pm on the scheduled day of arrival unless otherwise agreed directly with the Hotel. On the day of departure we ask all guests to vacate their rooms by 11:00 am. Late check-out after this time can be requested subject to availability and will be charged at an hourly rate at the discretion of the Hotel.Rooms are subject to maximum occupancy rules set by the Hotel. Damage

During their stay our guests are responsible for the room they have booked and are expected to leave it in the same state of cleanliness, general repair which they found it in. We reserve the right to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room or any other area of the hotel during your stay (including without limitation specialist cleaning) or for any items that are missing when you leave.We reserve the right to enter rooms at reasonable times for the purpose of security, inspection, or to carry out cleaning, repairs and maintenance.

Our guests are kindly requested to behave appropriately at all times and to comply with hotel procedures and/or requests with regard to conduct and respect for the property of the hotel, its employees, the other guests and health and safety matters. Guests are requested not to disrupt the comfort and enjoyment of other guests, the smooth running of the Hotel, or cause offence to other guests or to members of our staff.

You must not:
• Smoke anywhere inside Hotel premises, this includes the smoking of e-cigarettes.
• Bring any potentially dangerous or hazardous materials or equipment onto Hotel premises;
• Use any equipment which may set off the fire alarm system, such as toasters, mini cookers or portable grills;
• Tamper with any fire alarms or emergency equipment;
• Remove, damage or destroy any Hotel property;
• Resell or transfer your Booking (or any part of it) or advertise, or otherwise offer a Hotel room for sale;

We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or services or to ask you and members of your party to leave the Hotel if, in our reasonable opinion, we consider that the provisions of this term have been breached. If this happens we have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred.

Rooms may be cancelled free of charge 48 hours before the arrival date. If you cancel your reservation 48 hours before arrival a full refund will be applied to the card provided upon booking. Please allow 5 working days for the refund to show on your account. If you cancel a reservation less than 48 hours before arrival, you will be charged the equivalent to one night’s accommodation per room booked.

If you decide to shorten your stay you must inform reception 48 hours before the day you wish to check out. Failure to do so will result in a cancellation charge equivalent to one night’s accommodation per room booked.

Bookings made with a Non Refundable rate cannot be cancelled, amended or refunded.

Cancellation Policy

In light of unpredictable travel this year we offer our BEST RATES and LATEST cancellation policy when you book direct with us. You only need to give us 48 hours cancellation notice before your arrival date. Please check our full cancellation policy.

You can request a later check out for an additional £25 – please contact reception to arrange the day before your departure.


Is breakfast included?

Yes. Breakfast is served 7.30am-9:30am in our main building. Continental breakfast is included in your room rate and consists of a choice of 4 items from the following: cereal, yogurt, a piece of fruit, toast with jam and butter; orange or apple juice, coffee, tea (PG, green or mint) and hot chocolate with additional items at a surcharge.

We now also offer a cooked full English breakfast at £8 with eggs, beans, bacon, sausage, hash brown, as well as different coffees free of charge in our lounge 24 hours a day.

Do you have a lift?

Our beautiful Victorian building from 1850 has many attractive original architectural details, but sorry, no lifts!

 

Bookings

All Bookings at the Hotel are subject to these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old to make a reservation. When you book you will be informed of any minimum length of stay, the amount of any deposit and any cancellation charges. Other conditions may apply which will be specified when you make your booking.

Check-In / Check-Out Requirements

In the interests of security and to prevent fraud, at the time of check-in, guests may be required to confirm their identity, for example by providing their passport/identity card/driving licence. These records will be kept for at least 12 months and may be disclosed to a third party as required by law. We reserve the right to refuse entry to persons who cannot provide the information mentioned in this paragraph. Unless otherwise stated on the booking confirmation, guests may check-in at any time from 14:00 on the scheduled day of arrival. All rooms which are guaranteed by a travel agent, deposit or prepaid will he held until 11:59 pm on the scheduled day of arrival unless otherwise agreed directly with the Hotel. On the day of departure we ask all guests to vacate their rooms by 11:00 am. Late check-out after this time can be requested subject to availability and will be charged at an hourly rate at the discretion of the Hotel.Rooms are subject to maximum occupancy rules set by the Hotel. Your Rights To Cancel

The cancellation policy varies according to the rate when you booked. Rooms may be cancelled 48 hours before the arrival date. If you cancel your reservation 48 hours before arrival and have paid for the room in advance by debit/credit card, a refund will be processed to the same debit/credit card. Please note that it may take up to 5 working days before the refund reaches your account. If you cancel a reservation less than 48 hours before arrival and have not already paid for the room in advance you will be charged a cancellation charge equivalent to one night’s accommodation per room booked. If you decide to shorten your stay you must inform reception 48 hours before the day you wish to check out. Our Right To Cancel

We may cancel your Booking at any time with immediate effect if:
• you do not pay us when you are required to do so;
• you behave antisocially towards any member of staff or resident guest;
We may also cancel your booking if we are unable to make a room available for you because of an event beyond our control, e.g. industrial action, explosion, fire, flooding, power failure, lack of water supplies or emergency evacuation. In this case we will contact you to let you know as soon as possible and if you have already paid for your room, we will refund your payment to you.

Damage

During their stay our guests are responsible for the room they have booked and are expected to leave it in the same state of cleanliness, general repair which they found it in. We reserve the right to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room or any other area of the hotel during your stay (including without limitation specialist cleaning) or for any items that are missing when you leave.We reserve the right to enter rooms at reasonable times for the purpose of security, inspection, or to carry out cleaning, repairs and maintenance.

Guest Behaviour
